An Exhibition of Sum-e and other works

This exhibition is dedicated to the late Sanshiro Ikedasan, my mentor and beloved teacher who gave me my first solo exhibition and, 35 years later, a retrospective show at his Mingei Kaukan gallery in Matsumoto, Japan.Without his insight into the heart and unique soul of japanese folk traditions and the universality of its power and beauty, my life and art would never have taken root.
